I can't get TomTom 5 to see my Bluetooth GPS receiver :-(

I have a HP Ipaq 1940 and a Bluetooth Rikaline 6030 GPS receiver which I believe is a rebadged Leadtek 9537. I have
tried reinstalling (format card and hard reset) TomTom 5 twice now. The first time I installed the software and then
paired up the Bluetooth GPS receiver and the second time I paired up the Bluetooth GPS receiver and then installed
TomTom 5. Both times I have specified the GPS hardware as 'Other Bluetooth GPS' and selected the Bluetooth Serial Port
8, I have also tried Serial Port 5. Still no joy. But if I put TomTom 4 back on it works. Any ideas?

I found the same answer at 'Pocket GPS World' and it appears to work :-)

Hi,

Complete stab in the dark, and the only thing I can think of, but
perhaps when you pair the GPS up with your 1940 you could try renaming
the GPS as 'TomTom Wireless GPS' as this overcame some issues with
TomTom Mobile.

Probably no help, but should only take seconds to test.
