TomTom don't do time trial version.
I can assure you its worth the money though
I have today asked TomTom if Navigator 3 for pocket PC will work with
the forthcoming SPV-M2000 but they say they can't talk about products
prior to release for commercial reasons. The M1000 is listed as
compatible and they are fairly similar devices I would have thought. I'm
specifically interested in the bluetooth Navigator 3.

I've cross-posted this to a GPS newsgroup, maybe someone there might
have insider knowledge?

Indeed. Having an Ipaq 5450, which is pretty much *only* used for sat
nav and tomtom3, I certainly would be interested if there was a viable
replacment. One "gizmo" instead of 2, is far better for me!

A week or two ago, I emailed them to ask whether Tomtom3 will work on
the Treo650 and if not, whether they plan to support it in the future.

Their reply was "we do not support the Treo 650 at this time"

Which I presume is a coded message meaning "piss off", to an existing
customer.

As it happens, I think that Navigon is a far better product, but it
needs a fairly powerful ppc to run on, and doesn't have a PalmOS
version.

Tomtom 3 is available on warez newsgroups, and after my experience of
their support, I'd not criticise anyone trying it that way.

Thanks, but I posted that 6 months ago!

For the record I've been using TomTom navigator 3 bluetooth in
conjunction with checkPOInt and POIedit successfully since mid-January.
