Apologies if this is the wrong group.

I'm after a weypoint list of locks etc on the UK canal system,
specifically the Oxford & Grand Union,

I've googled for ages and not found such a thing - hard to image some
sort of list doest exist.

In the US the National Geodedic Surver dapartment has a searchable listing
of most physical features here with coords. There is probably a similar
agency in the UK.

I've tried googling that and variants with UK in them, but no such luck.

If I wanted a database of weypoints where the UK have gotten involved
with disastrous events around the world, or hot spots where aid is
required I stumbled across those, but it seems points of interest to
boaters on the Uk waterways have been passed by.

Have you tried looking for "waypoints" instead of "weypoints?"

*sigh* yes I had - it was a typo as well I'm sure you knew :-)

I was going to post the same suggestion until I read Fred's post. One
reason: you spelled it the same way (wey?) both in the subject and in
the body, so it sure looked to me like you could have searched with the
wrong spelling.

You know, don't you, that Fred was trying to be helpful?
