hi very new to this so here goes,i'm thinking of getting a tomtom 300 , (im
in the uk) now i know it comes with maps etc, so i thought as i'm off to
australia on hol next year i will scour the net and find maps for Oz (which
i have found and downloaded), my question is would these maps work on a uk
bought tomtom,

with the pda variant of tomtom, they are easy to incorporate, with the Go
version, I think they need to be downloaded via the internet direct into the
device, though no doubt someone else may know differently ;-)

Know where from. I want to update my maps but feel ripped off that TT want
to charge me £50 and the unit is only 3 months old
